History was made last week at the White House, as leaders from Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain met with President Donald J. Trump and signed the Abraham Accords, which will normalize diplomatic relations between Israel and the two Arab nations. The countries have committed to the exchange of embassies and ambassadors, and to begin, cooperation across a broad range of fields including education, healthcare, trade, and security.

These Accords are only the beginning of normalized relations between Israel and its neighbors, with many more likely to come. Pastor Mario Bramnick, President of Latino Coalition for Israel, stated, “Hispanic Evangelicals applaud President Trump’s historic brokering of the Abraham Accords to establish peace between U.A.E., Bahrain and Israel, which avails all sides to nearly endless opportunities. These agreements are leading to peace between Israel and the Middle East, as well as increased security in the region.”

President Trump’s policies are leading to the most rapid geopolitical transformation of the Arab world in more than a generation.

Pastor Bramnick further stated: “The Abraham Accords ushers in a fresh paradigm. It flies in the face of the false premise that the most vital challenge in the Middle East today is solving the Palestinian problem. Indeed, the Accords send a clear message to the Palestinian authority: peace agreements between Israel and Arab countries are no longer contingent on an agreement between Israel and the Palestinians; containing the Iranian threat is more important to many Arab states than the Palestinian cause.”
The Latino Coalition for Israel’s vision is to engage and activate Hispanics in the Pro-Israel movement to counter the global rise of antisemitism and the Campaign to Delegitimize the Nation of Israel and to engage heads of state of Latin American countries to move their Embassies to Jerusalem. Our vision is to establish the largest Pro-Israel Hispanic entity: The Latino Coalition for Israel (LCI).
