A group of Conservative American evangelical leaders recently visited Jerusalem for the Israel launch of the Conference of Christian Presidents (CCP), expressing support for Israel sovereignty in Judea and Samaria.
The CCP was established last September in Washington, DC, as an umbrella organization for pro-Israel faith groups. The organization’s stated purpose is to advance pro-Israel policies at the executive, legislative, and state levels while mobilizing grassroots efforts to strengthen U.S.-Israel relations and combat rising antisemitism in North America.
The conference was launched at the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem, with the gathered faith leaders expressing strong support for Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.
Ralph Reed, founder and chairman of the Faith and Freedom Caucus, emphatically stated, “We strongly support and think it is imperative that Israeli sovereignty be expressed, extended and recognized over Judea and Samaria. Recognizing Israeli sovereignty is indispensable for Israel to provide security to its own people.”
Reed warned that Palestinian dominance “poses a long-term danger to the security not only of the Israelis who are living in Judea and Samaria and legally doing so, but it poses a long-term security threat to the whole country. It’s not quite on the level of the powder keg that Gaza was prior to October 7, but it’s very close, and it’s the next thing to blow,” he told The Media Line.
