Jerusalem Embassy Event

At the event Pastor Mario Bramnick, stated that: “As faith leaders, we stand together to celebrate the move of the United States Embassy from Tel-Aviv to its rightful place in Jerusalem, a city that has represented the impf evangelicals, we want to express our deepest gratitude to President Donald Trump and Ambassador David Friedman for their unwavering commitment and steadfast resolve to fulfill President Trump’s campaign promise to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, all in the face of countless dissenting voices,” Bramnick says.

                                                          LCI Jerusalem Embassy Event

Ambassador Friedman addressed the meeting, thanked the faith leaders for their support and celebrated the move of the embassy, but cautioned, “Today is not a day to rest on laurels. We have a lot of work to do, and we are just getting started.”

Friedman recalled that Jerusalem has always been the capital of the Jewish people. “That is a fact. The facts haven’t changed in 3,000 years. The way we approach the facts, with optimism and courage, is how the Trump administration approaches the region,” he stated.

Michele Bachmann stated “I think it is [just] the beginning because now after 70 years, Israel really is in a golden era.  Israel is coming from a global position of strength, and I think that is where Israel is going to go—from strength to strength. Israel’s purpose biblically is to be a blessing for all nations. Nations can be enriched because of things Israel is doing. Things that emanate here, nowhere else, now will benefit the rest of the world.”

Pastor Paula White stated “God is redrawing the map through our president, and it is an honor to be a part of that,” calling Trump a “modern-day Cyrus,” referring to the Persian king who allowed the Jewish people to return from exile and commence building of the Second Temple, just meters away.

Lourdes Aguirre, LCI member, said that President Trump’s message in moving the U.S. embassy is consistent with his message of peace: “We are protected because the President of the United States stands for peace for all religions, for all faiths.”
