LATINO COALITION FOR ISRAEL LATIN AMERICAN LAUNCH
Latino Coalition for Israel (LCI) announces the launch of our LCI South American initiative in Montevideo, Uruguay several weeks ago. The South America launching of the Latino Coalition for Israel (LCI), represented by Connie Wilson, Board Director was a great success in Uruguay. There were several events that from September 11-17, 2017.
On September 11, 2017, Latino Coalition for Israel launched our LCI Latin American vision by hosting a Noche de Celebracion para Israel. There was an overwhelming response and support for Israel. Apostle Alberto and Blanca Acenjo, Latin American representatives for LCI, moderated the evening. Israeli Ambassador Nina Ben Ami spoke about the long standing history of Uruguay’s support of Israel. Dr. Gerardo Amarilla, Parlamentarian having completed his term as President of the Congress of Uruguay, moved the audience with his great love for Israel. Connie Wilson, of LCI, asserted the imperativeness of Uruguayan and South American Christians to be activated and involved in the pro-Israel movement, to combat antisemitism and bigotry.
On Tuesday, September 12, in Montevideo, Uruguay, Dr. Gerardo Amarilla was awarded the annual Jerusalem prize. Following the event, Connie Wilson was interviewed on the main national Uruguayan television station regarding Dr. Amarilla, as well as the work that Latino Coalition for Israel has initiated in Latin America. Thursday, September 14, Connie Wilson spoke at Centro Cristiano de Rivera, imparting the vision LCI, and the tremendous awakening happening with Latinos right now. It is God’s time now for Latin America and the involvement with Israel. The following day, Connie Wilson was interviewed for a Christian program in Rivera, Uruguay.
LCI will be hosting events in major cities throughout the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean and will continue to mobilize the Hispanic Evangelical community in support of Israel and the Jewish community. Please join us and follow us on Facebook and twitter.
