LATINO COALITION FOR ISRAEL DENOUNCES UNITED NATIONS RESOLUTION ON JERUSALEM AS ISRAEL’S CAPITAL AND APPLAUD PRESIDENT TRUMP AND AMBASSADOR NIKKI HALEY’S STRONG RESOLUTIONS PRESS RELEASE
The Latino Coalition for Israel denounces UN General Resolution on Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital and applaud President Trump’s and Ambassador Nikki Haley’s
strong resolution in holding the United Nations accountable for the resolution. Pastor Mario Bramnick, President of Latino Coalition for Israel states “we denounce the resolution on Jerusalem adopted by the UN General Assembly on Thursday criticizing the U.S. decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. The nonbinding resolution was adopted with 128 nations in favor, 9 against, 35 abstained, and 21 countries did not vote. This is a one-sided anti-Israel resolution.”
U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley said, “The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out for attack in the General Assembly for the very act of exercising our right as a sovereign nation…. When a nation is singled out for attack in this organization, that nation is disrespected. What’s more, that nation is asked to pay for the privilege of being disrespected. In the case of the United States, we are asked to pay more than anyone else for that dubious privilege.” Ambassador Haley further stated: “To its shame, the United Nations has long
been a hostile place for the State of Israel….It’s a wrong that undermines the credibility of this institution, and that in turn is harmful for the entire world.” Pastor Mario Bramnick, further stated, “We are so grateful for President Trump and U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley for displaying steadfast moral courage in support of Israel and for holding the United Nations and the nations criticizing the US decisions accountable.
